The staffing industry can be confusing. To help break it down, here are our answers to the most common questions about what we do and how we do it.
I’ve never worked with a staffing firm before… how does it work?
Not all staffing firms work the same way. At Synergis, we believe in building long-term relationships with our clients and candidates. So, when you work with us, the very first step is to connect you with an account executive who specializes in the field in which you work. We partner with you from the very first conversation through onboarding your ideal candidate, so you always have the support you need. Here is the basic process we follow:
Step 1: Our Account Executive will connect with you to learn about your team, culture, open position, budget and ideal interview process upfront to ensure a smooth hiring process. They’ll discuss next steps, agreements, and what we need to do to work as an extension of your team.
Step 2: After learning exactly what you’re looking for, we’ll send you qualified candidates we’ve already pre-screened for you to review and provide feedback. Then, we’ll work with you to schedule interviews with our candidates.
Step 3: Once you’ve selected the candidate you want to hire, we’ll work with your HR team to get your new resource onboarded through Synergis as quickly as possible.

What happens if the consultant doesn’t work out?
We act as your partner to ensure that you’re satisfied with our talent and services. While our consultant is onsite, we’ll check in with them and with you, and offer coaching through any situation. However, if for some reason our consultant doesn’t fit the bill, we’ll provide new candidates to consider to start the process rolling on finding a better fit.

We strive to work within your timeline. In many cases, we’re able to get initial candidates to review within 2-3 business days, and depending on your interview process and schedule, could have your ideal candidate start within a matter of weeks.
Why should I use staffing services instead of filling the position on my own?
Taking advantage of a staffing service enables you to save money on hiring costs and benefits, place candidates quicker, try out a candidate before you commit to permanent employment and use contract talent for project-based work. Read about the many benefits this info sheet.
