Description

Marketing Managers demonstrate experience developing and producing innovative marketing initiatives and campaigns that drive Retail customer acquisition, loyalty and conversion, and brand equity across digital and physical channels.

 

These marketers are versatile, dynamic and highly motivated individuals with a proven track record executing projects from strategy and concept through to production and delivery, working alongside a global cross-functional team of Marketers, Product Managers, Business Owners, Merchants, Creatives, Operators and more. They therefore must possess a strategic mind, the organizational skills of a project manager, the obsession of a designer, and the ability to build relationships and converse fluently with product, business, operations and creative teams.

 

This position carries with it a deep passion and understanding of the brand, vision, objectives and customer experience. These individuals are natural leaders, they thrive in fast-paced environments, and are on top of trends in retail, marketing and the world around us.

 

Responsibilities

  Oversee and manage marketing activity for seasonal moments, promotions, products, services, segments, and support available in Retail

  Develop and execute a marketing plan in support of key campaign moments, new and established experience design, and ongoing sales momentum efforts

  Stay across business priorities, trends, and the work around you in order to be pro-active and relevant with marketing ideas and recommendations while connecting dots across programs as appropriate

  Use knowledge of the customer- from behaviors and insights to their journey in-store – to influence ideas and the work

  Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams from planning thru execution, making the most of their time and skill sets to optimize the work

  Socialize ideas and work with stakeholders world-wide to get input and buy-in

  Manage multiple workflows and deliver projects on aggressive timelines

  Translate business and customer needs into project requirements

  Organize complex information so it’s clear, concise, digestible, and shows attention to detail

 

 

Key Qualifications

  5+ years marketing experience, client or agency side (number of years will vary by level)

  Retail experience preferred, including ecommerce and brick and mortar

  Proven experience leading, managing and measuring large-scale marketing campaigns
Manage and track campaign spend

  Experience designing and developing customer experiences, events and/or integrated activations

  Solid experience crafting integrated marketing plans and communications aligned to the product and customer lifecycle

  Ability to manage complex program details while considering how each element impacts the big picture

  Exceptional storyteller with strong written and verbal communication skills; adept at building and delivering compelling presentations

  Ability to develop clear, concise marketing and creative briefs

  Experience working in a global organization on multi-market, multi-language projects

  Strong leader that is able to hone in on business challenges, utilize insights, discuss and debate ideas and develop an informed point of view to push work forward

  Ability to connect the dots across information, work streams, people, and teams to better inform the work

  Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task across competing priorities, projects, schedules and deliverables

  Proven ability to solve problems creatively and deliver results through negotiation, tact and diplomacy in a high pressure environment

  Curious, self-starter with the ability to work independently

  Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels

  Operationally-minded
