Business Development Lead

New York, NY (must be local to the area)

7+ month contract (benefits offered, potential to extend)

● Work closely with internal cross-functional leaders in sales, product, marketing and senior partner contacts to launch and grow “consulting as added value” engagements in exchange for media spend commitments

● Launch and grow partnerships as well as drive strategic opportunities with existing partners

● Ensure success of all partnerships, internally and externally, by ensuring smooth integration during campaign launches

● Develop and maintain dashboard and metrics to measure success of partnerships

● Proactively identify new areas for collaboration with partners, structure proposals and upsell partners on new areas for collaboration

● Proactively acquire a deep understanding of our company's Marketing Solutions business in order to successfully manage and grow partner relationships

● Report on partner status to internal stakeholders, including product integrations, engagement with our products and key revenue metrics driven by partnerships

● Support deal execution with partners as needed

Basic Qualifications:

● BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience

● 5+ years of work experience in a partner management or business development role

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience creating and executing sales and business development deals

● Experience launching and scaling major business initiatives involving partners

● Experience with content and online advertising industries

● Experience with project management

● Expert knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

● Excellent communication, analytical and collaboration skills

● Ability to structure and conduct quantitative analysis to develop data-driven decisions to grow partnerships, identify new areas of opportunity and demonstrate business impact of our partnerships to internal and external stakeholders

● Ability to conceptualize and drive strategy for growing and optimizing partner programs

● Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
