Agile Product Manager

6 Month Contract | REMOTE


Synergis’ client, a leader in home improvement, has engaged us in a search for an Agile Product Manager to augment their team! The Product Manager is responsible for delivering business value to drive sales, improve efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction through the production of quality products. Within their designated enterprise product line, PMs focus on delivering incremental value by driving product changes and working closely with a team of developers, designers, and business partners. They support in-depth business reviews, communicate and present across all levels of the organization, and support cross-functional product teams

Background and Scope

  • Demonstrated experience with modern software development product management practices and agile methodologies
  • Experience working in a fast paced, fluid environment where priorities shift on a regular basis
  • Experience communicating with and influencing functional and technical team members at all levels in the organization
  • Experience working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional, modern software design and development team
  • Experience creating, prioritizing, and accepting user stories
  • Experience conducting user research and testing to understand needs
  • Experience identifying goals, metrics, and analytics to measure product value
  • Experience conducting competitive research and analysis



  • Bachelor's degree related hands on experience
  • 5 to 7+ years of recent experience as a product manager in an Agile environment
  • Certified agile product manager
  • Experience with design thinking
  • 8+ years of experience with writing business and functional requirements and experience implementing Agile methodologies required
  • Experience with JIRA preferred
  • Experience with MS Office suite preferred (Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and function as an integral part of the team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills both technical and business focused
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, prioritize numerous tasks, and problem solve under pressure of deadlines and resource constraints



  • Experience and / or knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools helpful, but not required
